The Giáy (Vietnamese: người Giáy) are an ethnic group in Vietnam who speak the Buyei language. Most live in the Lào Cai, Hà Giang, Lai Châu, and Cao Bằng provinces of northern Vietnam. In 1999 the population was 49,098.
They serve dishes called lạp siềng and lò nùng. They sing vương and phướn. They celebrate the Roóng Poọc festival on the snake day of the first lunar month.
